The MSC 2008 Conference will be held at the Hilton Palacio del Rio in San Antonio, Texas, USA. Student Rates

A limited number of rooms have been reserved for students presenting at the MSC Conference. Please check back in the early May for the procedure to reserve a student room.

If you plan to arrive early or stay back for a few days after the conference, these rates are available from August 28 to September 9, 2008.

To receive the conference rates, reservations must be made by August 22, 2008.

Driving Directions to the Hilton Palacio del Rio

From Austin: I-35 South, take I-37 South, Exit Commerce Street and turn right (west) on Commerce, then turn Left at Losoya.

From East Bound I-10, exit Durango, turn left at Alamo. Go north on Alamo turn left on Commerce and an immediate left on Losoya which becomes Alamo (southbound). Hotel on corner of Market & Alamo.

From West Bound I-10, exit I-37 North, exit Commerce Street and turn left (west) on Commerce, then left at Losoya, which becomes Alamo.

Hotel is physically located on the corner of Alamo and Market Streets.

From the San Antonio International Airport:

From San Antonio International Airport: take 281- South, it becomes I-37 South, exit Commerce Street and turn right (west) on Commerce, then turn left at Losoya, it becomes Alamo. Hotel on corner of Market & Alamo.

Shuttle Service

The city’s official downtown shuttle is the SATRANS Airport Express, call 800-868-7707 for 24-hour information and reservations or go to http://www.saairportshuttle.com. The service is first come, first serve, from 7 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. (approx. every 15 minutes to downtown), 7 days a week and tickets may be purchased curbside, outside the baggage area, at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
